In order to make your visit at Serenity in the Mountains as enjoyable as possible, here are a few instructions and policies, or rather “tips”. If you still have a question, please do not hesitate to contact us prior to your appointment time. We would like to ensure your pampering day is as stress free as possible in order to make the most of your spa day.

Have a Question about a Spa Service

In order to better prepare, meet your personal needs, and make your serene spa experience exceptional, we invite you to discuss any of your preferences or special needs with our spa staff prior to your visit. For example, please let staff know if you are pregnant, have acrylic nails, etc. We sincerely hope you enjoy your spa experience at Serenity in the Mountains.

If you need assistance, please contact our office during regular business hours.


We invite you to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to check in, complete paperwork, obtain your spa locker, change in to your spa attire, and begin to relax in our lounge, steam room, or sauna. Please note that spa treatments begin and end at the time scheduled; therefore, no adjustments can be made for late arrivals. To ensure all guests at Serenity in the Mountains Day Spa receive their full treatment, all late arrivals will end at the scheduled time.


Please inform us of any medical condition (i.e. pregnancy, recent surgery..etc) when booking any service.

A credit card is required to reserve a spa service.
For payment on services for the Spa and Suites (and for purchases made at the Spa), we accept:
Personal check (with ID)
Gift cards and certificates are non-transferable.


We have taken great care to schedule time and staff accordingly, therefore there are no substitutions allowed.


Serenity in the Mountains does not include gratuities on any spa service. We feel tipping is a personal decision based upon the satisfaction of services received; therefore tipping is completely at your discretion.


Please be courteous of guests who have arranged their own refreshments. These refreshments are reserved for that specific party only. You may help yourself to our complimentary refreshment bar located in the relaxation lounge area. We also offer delectable add on-s to any service; Chocolate Covered Strawberry Tray or Charcuterie Boards. We ask that you request the refreshments a day or more in advance of your spa visit.


We cater to both men and women at our spa. Our relaxation rooms, locker rooms, steam and sauna are not co-ed. Couples enjoy the Sanctuary, our beautiful co-ed relaxation room designed to optimize the Serenity experience. For massages, we cannot guarantee a specific couples massage rooms but try to accommodate requests.


For any group reservations, the cancellation must be made at least two-weeks prior to your visit. Any cancellations less than two-weeks in advance will be charged 50% of the total cost of spa services.


We request the courtesy of a 48 hour cancellation for all individual services. You will be charged for 50% of your service cost if you do not give adequate time for cancellation.

We do not use anything that may potentially damage skin in our manicures or pedicures. However, if you are coming for a pedicure, we ask that you not shave your legs within 24 hours of your appointment.


Our Spa attendant will provide you with a spa locker; however, we ask that you please not bring jewelry or other valuables to the spa. We are not responsible for valuables that are lost or left at the spa.


Spa Amenities are complimentary for all spa guests during the day of the appointment. Your spa perks include saunas, steam rooms, lockers, locker room, showers, changing rooms and the relaxation lounge. For guests who are staying in the suites, steam and sauna is available to you for the duration of your stay during our regular business hours.


Based on our spa availability, we will do our very best to accommodate any special requests made. Please be sure to make your service provider preferences known when booking all your appointments.


Before leaving our spa, please take a minute to settle your account and return your locker key and shoes following your services. If you would like a receipt, please ask for one at that time.


For your massage, undress only to your own comfort level.


In order to maintain an environment conducive to relaxation and in consideration of our guests, we request that children or animals do not accompany you on your appointment day. Cell phones and similar electronic devices are not appropriate in any area of our spa. We request all spa guests to please silence all electronic devices and leave them in your locker.


No pets are allowed in spa including Support Animals.


We do not perform massages, facials, or body treatments on any one under the age of 18. Additionally we do not allow minors under the age of 18 in our relaxation areas nor the Salt Cave.


All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Holidays will be charged as the higher weekend price.


We recommend when trying many of our retail products for the first time that you purchase the smaller size to see if you like the product first. We offer small or travel sizes for many of our spa products.


To ensure your overall comfort, please feel free to communicate with your therapist in regards to room temperature, massage pressure, and service techniques.


Please call as far in advance as possible to ensure availability of any special requests you may have in regards to a specific service provider or additional spa services. Our spa reservations staff can help you with your serene spa experience.


For your comfort, refrain from any hair removal (including shaving, waxing, or laser removal) at least 24 hours in advance. This will help to prevent any irritation from occurring.


Before your departure, we invite you to visit our Spa Boutique. This is a wonderful way to take your spa experience home with you. We carry the same fabulous spa products used in our treatments and spa gift items are also available.

Have a Question about Staying in our Luxury Suites

In order to better prepare, meet your personal needs, and make your serene spa experience and overnight accommodations exceptional, we invite you to discuss any of your preferences or special needs with our spa staff prior to your visit. Our instructions and policies are provided below. Please note that all interior areas are non smoking. For example, please let staff know if you have mobility problems or any other disabilities or special requirements, etc. We sincerely hope you enjoy your Luxury Suite and Spa experience at Serenity in the Mountains.

If you are planning a longer stay with us, please note that you can schedule housekeeping for an additional daily fee.


We want you to enjoy our spa robes and visit the spa for a steam or sauna during your stay (during spa hours). We ask that you return the spa robes to your room when you leave. We will charge your credit card $100 for any robes taken from the suites.


All suites offer complimentary wireless internet connection.


For any group reservations, the cancellation must be made two-weeks prior. Any cancellations less than two-weeks in advance will be charged 50% of the total cost of lodging and spa services.


For standard reservations, the cancellation must be made 48 hours prior. Any cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged the cost of one nights lodging and 50% of the cost of any spa services reserved.

Please review your spa schedule for accuracy and notify us immediately if corrections need to be made prior to your arrival. Based upon availability, additional spa services may be added to your base package for additional cost. There are NO substitutions allowed to your base package.


Unfortunately we no longer offer pet-friendly rentals. Service Animals are allowed under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in our suites and spa at no charge however guests will need to provide the following information prior to check-in:
1) Is the service animal required because of a disability?
(2) What work or task has the service animal been trained to perform?
Emotional Support Animals are allowed in suites however a $50.00 fee will apply. Registration or letter from physician for Emotional Support Animals is required prior to check-in. Emotional Support Animals are not allowed at the spa. Guests are responsible for any damage to the suite caused by support animal.
Spa Services


Please keep in mind, the office is closed on Sundays. All accounts should be paid in full by Saturday if you are departing on Sunday. We ask that you please be sure to turn off all the lights, heat and air conditioning, and close the door.
